Galkyd

Description

Galkyd thins oil colours and increases transparency and gloss. When used in greater proportions with oil colour, Galkyd will level brushstrokes creating a strong flexible paint film with an enamel-like glossy finish. Galkyd is Gamblin’s fastest-drying painting medium.

Thin layers will be touch-dry in approximately 24 hours.

Can be used as a glazing medium by thinning with up to 50% by volume of odourless white spirit, such as Gamsol.
