Description
A naturally occurring combination of calcium and magnesium carbonates.
In ceramic glazes it is used as a source of magnesia and calcia, providing a secondary flux for high temperature porcelain and stoneware glazes.
Produces a soft-white, semi-matt glaze finish often accompanied by crystalline growth.
